The first runner beans

A first pick today of runner beans, variety Enorma and Armstrong, french beans and perpetual spinach. Not a huge amount this early in July but enough for one meal.

    Nice one! My biggest Runners are about an inch long still.

    Fabulous that you have runners already mine are all still in flower and not a bean in sight - although I have picked a few French beans - and delicious gthey were too.
