The first runner beans

A first pick today of runner beans, variety Enorma and Armstrong, french beans and perpetual spinach. Not a huge amount this early in July but enough for one meal.

  4. Fabulous that you have runners already mine are all still in flower and not a bean in sight - although I have picked a few French beans - and delicious gthey were too.
