So I'm guessing this place has a connection? The spelling changed over the years and a few hundred years ago my direct ancestor wasn't the eldest son so didn't inherit the big house and lands. Our branch dropped the 'de la' bit moved to Cornwall and became tin minors. How the rich have fallen haha. I'm prouder of my Cornish tin mining ancestry than the de la Warr Lords and landowners.
